Expressions Dance Company (EDC) at Harvard University is a student-operated company showcasing hip hop dance and its variations including house, jazz funk, and contemporary jazz. Founded in 1978 with its inaugural performances in the spring of 1979, EDC has an established legacy of artistic achievement grounded in a community valuing diversity, creativity, and confidence. Through these values, Expressions promotes artistry, activism, acceptance, and advancement. Our company doors remain open to dancers with a range of training and performance experience – from beginners to professionals.
